'Highcross' landmark 1000 Lakeside North Harbour building in Portsmouth has become a showcase for a thousand paintings, sculptures and other contemporary works. The semi-permanent exhibition, known as Art at 1000 Lakeside, was launched by Highcross at a private viewing for clients. Initially on display were works by some local artists and a selection of contemporary art by members of Art Space Portsmouth. A rolling programme of exhibitions by these members have since been agreed with Art Space and will be launched at the venue, creating a wonderful opportunity for the business community to have access to and to purchase contemporary art. As a result Highcross has generously sponsored Art Space Portsmouth funds to develop a new website.'
