Art Space - GASP

GASP - Gallery Art Space Portsmouth

Art Space Portsmouth is a registered charity. One of its objects is to promote, advance, improve and maintain the education of the public and to promote the appreciation of all forms of art by providing facilities for exhibitions, workshops and seminars. To help with this work ASP has a small communal space used for exhibitions and a project space. This is known as Gallery Art Space Portsmouth (GASP). The space is manged by a committee of ASP members.

GASP aims to nurture the artistic development of Art Space Portsmouth's artists by providing a project space for experimentation and collaboration. It aims to promote greater interaction and links with new audiences and external agencies by engaging with the wider community through its exhibition programme, events and educational activities.

The use of the GASP space is an Art Space Portsmouth membership benefit. However, external artists can be invited to exhibit through an Art Space Portsmouth member as part of group exhibition or curated project. To find our more about becoming a member please click here.

For further information about the use of the space and bookings please download the GASP Booking Pack and Terms and Conditions by clicking on this link. If you require the Booking Form as a Word file please download this here.
