Art at 1000 Lakeside North Harbour
"Highcross' landmark 1000 Lakeside North Harbour building in Portsmouth has become a showcase for paintings, sculptures and other contemporary works. The semi-permanent exhibition, known as Art at 1000 Lakeside, was launched by Highcross at a private viewing for clients. Initially on display were works by some local artists and a large selection of contemporary art by members of Art Space Portsmouth." A rolling programme of exhibitions of work by Art Space Portsmouth has since been established, with Art space occupying the West Corridor and the atrium. This has created a wonderful opportunity for the business community to have access to and to purchase contemporary art. As a result Highcross has generously sponsored Art Space Portsmouth funds to develop a new website.
