Art Space - Open Studios Weekend 2012

Once again, over 40 of our members will open their doors to the public for the annual ‘Open Studios Weekend'.

Art Space has managed studios for artists at the converted chapel on Brougham Road in Portsmouth for over 30 years. Each year, the building is opened to the public who are invited to meet the artists, to see and hear about their work and buy directly from them.

Visitors will be invited into over thirty permanent artists' studios and workshops and view artworks on display in the GASP (Gallery Art Space Portsmouth) exhibition space and around the building.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy refreshments in the Art Space ‘urban garden'.

ADMISSION FREE - ALL WELCOME
Children must be accompanied by an adult

Brougham Road is a 5 minute walk from the main bus routes that run via Winston Churchill Avenue in central Portsmouth and Elm Grove in Southsea; and a 10-to-15 minute walk from Portsmouth and Southsea central train station. Car parking on and around Brougham road is limited and restricted to three hours.
