Mixed Media Artist

My work has been inspired by ‘Secret Theatres of the
Mind’ and BBC 3 documentary by Michael Lignatieff on
the subject of Alzheimer’s Disease.

I have pushed an pulled the work from a photographic
process to printing,
distorting it further with the use of drawing, collage
and acrylic paint. The work has been realized on a
number of different surfaces such as steel, paper and
foamx to portray the experience of deterioration, the
memory in splinters and fragments, a swirling down
feeling – trying to hold on to the notion of
recognition.
