Welcome to Art Space Portsmouth. Originally founded in 1980 by a small group of graduates and lecturers from Portsmouth Polytechnic, it is now a thriving group of 45 professional artists of which 28 have studios in our converted Chapel in Brougham Road. The management of the building and our activities are overseen by a board of trustees and a part time studio -coordinator with the membership taking an active role in initiating and managing Art Space projects.
