Studio One

Studio One is our rolling artist opportunity to rent a studio at Art Space Portsmouth for short periods.

Our next open call is now open for applications for three – four months starting June 2026

All applicants MUST be able to open their studio for our annual Open Studios weekend 20th & 21st June, 11am-4pm

This is a fantastic opportunity for artists wanting a studio space to start or complete a project; to test ideas and develop new work; or see if having a dedicated space would help your practice, without the worry of making a big commitment.

This opportunity is open to artists at all stages of their career, and we are dedicated to helping emerging artists get a step on the ladder.

Please note: Please say if you want the studio for 2, 3, and/or 4 months. Depending on applications we may split the opportunity into two 2 months residencies.
