About me

I am an interdisciplinary artist working across sculpture, installation, painting and participatory art. My practice investigates systems, structures and emergent behaviour, drawing upon complexity science, psychology, organisational theory and network dynamics.

My work is organised around three interconnected areas of inquiry: how complex systems can be translated into visual and material form; how participatory artworks can enable people to experience systems differently and develop greater systems literacy; and what changes when people can see and understand the systems shaping their lives—including whether this can increase agency, resilience or behavioural change.

Rather than illustrating systems as fixed diagrams, I create physical and participatory situations through which their relationships, constraints, instabilities and unexpected outcomes can be encountered directly.

My story

My artistic practice draws upon an earlier career spanning biological science, animal behaviour, psychology, organisational science and complex-systems consulting.

I began my professional career within Australian defence and research environments, working with human behaviour, organisational capability and institutional systems. I later founded IGOR Human Science Consultancy, bringing together multidisciplinary expertise to build capability in organisational transformation and complex-systems consulting across Australia.

This background now informs my work as an artist. Scientific inquiry, behavioural observation and systems thinking are translated into sculpture, installation, painting and participatory experiences. Across these different forms, the central concern remains the same: making complex systems visible, tangible and open to human interpretation.

I work across the United Kingdom and Australia and am currently completing an MA in Fine Art at Falmouth University, with completion expected in mid-2027.
