DE-FIGURATION
Colin Merrin is a painter working in a variety of media. He works intuitively to develop narratives around portrait and figure and questions the idea of specific meaning in art. In Anne Shaw’s work the disconnect of personal and political reflected in the paintings suggests confrontation.
Their work focusses on the rendering of the human image within a deconstructed space, walking the tightrope between abstraction and figuration. The exhibition itself will run from Weds 6th to Thurs 14th Feb (Closed Sun 10th) Opening Hours: 12 noon to 4.30pm.
