”I'm an abstract painter, working on both large scale works as well as diptychs, triptychs and quadtriptychs. Scale and architecture, have influenced my work, giving the feeling of being small against a sea of colour. Recent work has been inspired by the colours and lines of landscape, weather, motorways, movement, trees and sea. Paintings can start with just a colour as an inspiration, whether totally abstract or suggestive of a real world, and then line and space play off each other to form a dramatic piece.”
