Stretched
Stretched is our fundraiser that draws upon the creative talents of our studio holders and off-site members. Each member is given a 6′ x 6′ mini canvas by our supporters for this initiative – The Fine Art Collective and Winsor & Newton. They can do with as they please. There is no limit on processes, approaches or outcomes.
All works are then exhibited anonymously in our gallery, posted on our Instagram page @artspaceportsmouth, and below, with assigned lot numbers (stroll through to see all the lots from this year). All artworks will be available for a starting offer of £10.
We will have a live fundraising night where people can place offers in person on Thursday 6th July 5-7pm – however if you can’t make that don’t fret as you can place offers via email (aspstretched@gmail.com) until 5pm 5th July. With your name, contact details, the lot number you’d like to bid on and the amount. Offers can start at £10 and can be increased by a minimum of £5. If you get gazumped in the event night, we will let you know in the days after what the outcome was. Even if you don’t win with your offer – know that you are supporting the arts studios and gallery through your involvement. If your offer does win however you’ll get sent your mini artwork after you’ve paid!
